We are proud to offer a variety of PADI dive courses by request, ranging from our Discover Scuba Diving course to our Dive Master program. All offered courses are taught by our highly skilled team, complete with in-classroom, pool, and open water instruction. Trust us, you won't want to miss out.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

If you're looking for a convenient way to try scuba, Aqua-Trek's PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is a great introduction to the wonderful world of diving, and there's no better place to discover diving than in the world-famous Beqa Lagoon! The class includes all use of course materials and scuba gear, classroom and pool instruction, as well as soft coral dives in Beqa Lagoon.

Prerequisites:

  • All divers must be 11 years or older

  • Completion of PADI Medical and Liability Forms

PADI Open Water Diver

In Aqua-Trek's PADI Open Water Diver Certification 3-Day Course, our highly-skilled dive staff will teach you all you need to know about scuba diving. Prior to the course you will take the online PADI E-learning portion of the course. This is included in the cost. Once you pay for the course a link to the E-learning will be emailed to you so that you can get the coursework done before you get to Fiji. This means you don’t have to sit in a classroom for a day while in Paradise. Instead you can get right to learning to dive! The course starts with pool instruction, and then you spend the final two days of the course performing open water check-out dives in the world-famous Beqa Lagoon!

Another option is to complete your coursework and poolwork with a dive store near you prior to joining us and take the 2 day PADI Referral Course, which consists of 2 days of check out dives.

Prerequisites:

  • Divers 10-14 years old qualify for the Junior Open Water Diver

  • Divers over 15 qualify for the Open Water Diver certification

  • Divers must be in reasonably good health and fitness and comfortable in the water

  • Completion of PADI Medical and Liability Forms

Course Length: 3 days with PADI eLearning completed, 2 days with dive store referral, classroom and pool dive complete

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Move up and experience real adventure with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. As you step beyond the PADI Open Water Diver level, you make five dives and have the opportunity to try some of diving's most rewarding and useful specialty activities.

This course includes the PADI E-Learning course, the five open water dives required for certification,
use of all gear, as well as the PADI certification card.

Our dive options include: AWARE-fish indentification, boat diving, deep diving, drift diving, multilevel and computer diving, night diving, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, underwater navigation, and wreck diving.

  • Open-water diver certification

PADI Rescue Diver

Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they've ever taken.

This course will cover self-rescue and diver stress, emergency management and equipment, panicked diver response, in-water rescue breathing protocols, egress (exits), and dive accident scenarios.

PADI E-learning is included in the cost. Once the course is paid for a link to the E-learning will be emailed to the student.
E-Learning must be completed prior to starting the course with Aqua-Trek.

  • Advanced open-water diver certification

Course Length: 2 days

PADI Dive Master

During the PADI Divemaster course, Aqua-Trek's expert instructors will teach you dive leadership skills. You will complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You will then put this knowledge into action through a series of practical training exercises. Allow 6-8 weeks to complete this course. Upon successful completion of the program, and as a PADI Divemaster, you can take your skills worldwide and work in dive stores, dive resorts and liveaboard dive vessels.

This course includes open water dives, instruction, use of all learning materials and scuba gear.

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)

  • PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)

  • Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months

  • At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification

  • 18 years or older

  • Completion of a PADI Medical Liability Form signed by a physician
